Spring, Warmer Weather, Travel, and the Start of AAU

This is the time where an A.A.U. program depends on players to attend a weekly or bi-weekly practice and weekend tournaments while players look to improve under their A.A.U. coaches and attend tournaments that gather the attendance of college coaches. This is a win-win situation when both parties are on the same page from day one.
Initiative is a key for both parties as coaches benefit player and program by contacting college coaches and players can work on their game because unlike high school, practice isn’t every day. When and where ever coaches, parents, and players attend tournaments we should all remember that we represent the jerseys, cities, family, and states that we are associated with. From April through May, every weekend is consumed by tournaments and every program is sure to run into some of the nation’s best competition on their quest to show their medal.
