Michigan- Is there any doubt that the games at the Breslin will be talked about in the same breath as some of the best games over the last ten years?

How many close games were there?

And Saginaw is again one of the top teams in the country, how good after beating Detroit Pershing by 19, the national polls will be out soon?

With new champions the game grows as well as the fan base, so congratulations Saginaw, Lansing Catholic, Kalamazoo Christian, and Muskegon West Catholic as these champions are sure to share their experiences as newly appointed ambassadors of Michigan High School Basketball.

Give up to game winning shots, 6’4 senior Max Gover hit the shot he’s been dreaming of since he first started playing and in front of a large Lansing Catholic crowd.

Give it up to the will of Muskegon West Catholic for not giving up in the Class D finals.

Give it up to Kalamazoo Christian and their seniors who came back to win after a loss in last year’s Class C semi-final.

Give it up to the seniors who capped their high-school careers with trips to Breslin, a destination many aspire for but few achieve.  You’re a rare breed.

Give it up to the players who might have played another game and the referees who prove that we are all human.

Give it up to the best team in Michigan for the second year in a row, the Nationaly ranked Saginaw Trojans.

Give it up to those that donated their time at the Breslin and all those that donated their time over the course of the playoff season.

Give it up to the players and coaches in their humbleness in times of victory and loss.

Thanks for a great playoffs,
