Columbus, OH.- The Big Ten doesn’t have to go far to find talent and two point guards from the Columbus area chose out-of state schools this week. 6’ 2011 point guard Trey Burke of Columbus Northland and 6’2 2012 point guard Kyle Molock of Dublin Coffman are amongst the best in their respective Ohio classes and are players to watch now and in the future.
Burke is a mid-major plus prospect but more importantly a winner and Penn State is getting one as he has a state championship with Northland and a national championship with All-Ohio Red 16u (Orlando-A.A.U. 16u National Championships). His father credits the decision to the Nittany Lions style of play, academics, playing time, and the Big Ten.
Molock is a high major prospect and a top 75 (Inside Prep Sports) player nationally in the 2012 class. He has size, creates for himself and others. His commitment was the first from the 2012 class for the Purdue Boilermakers. He plays A.A.U. for the Ohio Basketball Club.
