6'7 2010 power forward Javon Harden has transferred to Detroit Loyola from River Rouge.  Harden is raw offensively but his aggressive nature makes him a player to game plan around defensively.  He's also quick to grab rebounds.  Harden has registered for Inside Prep Sports' Super on September 20, 2009.

6'9 2010 center Walter Pickford has bounced around from Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central to Oak Hill, back to Forest Hills Central, and will spend his senior year at the newly structured Ernst Academy.  Pickford has gained interest from Big Ten to Atlantic 10 to MAC and Horizon League programs.

Inside Prep Sports caught up with Southfield High's 6'5 2011 forward Patrick Onwenu Monday and joining the Bluejays is 6' 2011 point guard Desmond "No Longer Pee-Wee" Barnes.  Southfield High also has the state's best 2011 guard Carlton Brundidge.

Detroit Community at one point over the summer looked like Detroit Finney (West Side) and while that's not going to happen they still landed the state's best incoming freshman, 6'5 wing Bo Zeigler.  Zeigler is mending a leg injury but will be ready for workouts in the near future.

As reported in Monday's article on Juwan Howard, jr., Detroit Pershing had 2011 6'8 skilled four-man Jalen Reynolds walk through the doors of the school located on the corner of Seven Mile and Ryan on Detroit's East Side.  Reynolds attended Livonia Clarenceville last year.  Reynolds is attending Inside Prep Sports' Super 80 on September 20, 2009.

Another transfer is 6'6 2011 power forward Justin Moss has moved to Romulus from Plymouth.  Moss is a chiseled 230-pounds and has many MAC schools interested.  Moss is attending Inside Prep Sports' Super 80 on September 20 2009.
